Why does Steve Daines keep lying about gas prices?
In January 2025, gas in Montana was $2.86 a gallon. Diesel was $3.63. Now, you’re paying $3.15 and $3.52, respectively. Gas prices are high and Daines knows it.
But instead of doing something about it, Daines is too busy playing political theater: parroting the tired lie about gas prices, blaming Biden, and fantasizing that gas prices could be fixed “in one day.”
Worse, he’s doing it to score points while Montanans, especially our farmers and ranchers, pay the price at the pump.
We deserve better. You deserve better. Will you help me unseat Daines and take back our Senate seat by chipping in $7 to my campaign today?

Let’s be clear: Oil prices are on the rise in Montana because U.S. production is down, and high costs at home are driving imports from abroad.
But Daines won’t tell you that. He won’t tell you that the chaos, uncertainty and market instability coming out of Washington right now are choking investment.
If we want true energy security, we need steady leadership, investment certainty, and honest conversations. Not finger-pointing and political soundbites.
Daines won’t give you that, but once we unseat him and take back our Senate seat, I promise you that I will. Can you help me get there by chipping in $7 or more to my campaign today?
