I come from a working-class family — one of eight kids raised by a steelworker and a stay-at-home mom. We didn’t have much, and when my parents were denied health coverage due to preexisting conditions, it nearly cost them everything. That experience lit a fire in me — and it’s the reason I ran for Congress.

Since day one, I’ve fought to ensure that families like mine aren’t left behind. And I’ve never been afraid to work across the aisle to get things done.

That’s why I’m proud to be ranked as one of the most bipartisan members of Congress — because Nevadans didn’t send me to Washington to score political points; they sent me to deliver real results.

Whether it’s expanding access to health care, securing clean water for Southern Nevada, supporting veterans, or strengthening education, I’ve reached across party lines to make progress — even when it wasn’t easy.

But here’s the truth: my seat is one of the most competitive in the country. National Republicans are going to spend millions to flip NV-03 and block the kind of commonsense, bipartisan progress we’ve made.
