• Silencing discussions on race, gender, and identity
• Discouraging efforts to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Targeting trans kids and banning them from school sports
• Threatening educators who don’t fall in line

Extremists have been plotting to dismantle public education and insert their radical ideology in the classroom for years, with hate groups like Moms for Liberty installing right-wing candidates into school board races across the country — all under the guise of “parental rights” and “family values.”

And as Donald Trump is working to tear down the Department of Education at the federal level, it’s more crucial than ever that we elect leaders at the district level who will protect both the physical and emotional safety of our children. That’s where our trailblazing mamas come in…

Our two PA mamas, Danielle Chesek and Kasara Weinrich, performed well in their primaries last week and now advance to the general election! AND we already had a Vote Mama school board candidate WIN her race this year: in 2022, Iliana Garza-Rojas became the first openly LGBTQ+ member of the Carrollton-Farmers Branch school board in Texas — and she was just re-elected earlier this month!

These races not only determine the learning environment for our kids, but also influence the overall health and safety of students at a time where gun violence and discrimination in the classroom are increasing.
