Both our country and our world are in crises; the global pandemic and the epidemic of racism are both crises. It's been hard to keep up.

The movement for black lives requires us to focus on how to address cultural and systemic racism in our work at NHYD. Thank you for your patience as we approach these changes carefully and thoroughly.

In the meantime, we'd like to thank the students who have written blog posts about their experiences during the pandemic over the last 3 months. Through these pieces, it is illustrated how quickly times can change and escalate. However, there are also many consistent patterns such as racial discrimination and healthcare access.

Thank you in advance for your time in reading the student stories from NHYD Granite State Voices. These stories have been made possible by an incredible team of NHYD Interns this year, all of whom are also college students. Thank you to Gabe, Arianna, Lindy, Jonathan for your dedication to uplift student voices. We all need to listen.
