📅 The Week Ahead: Statehood Anniversaries 🎂

Do you know when your state's anniversary of statehood is?

We're celebrating four upcoming statehood anniversaries in the week ahead. Explore Census Bureau data on each state with data.census.gov profiles. 

• Rhode Island and Wisconsin will both celebrate anniversaries on Thursday, May 29. This will be Rhode Island's 235th anniversary of statehood and Wisconsin's 177th anniversary. 
• Kentucky and Tennessee will celebrate statehood anniversaries on Sunday, June 1. This will be Kentucky's 233rd anniversary and Tennessee's 229th anniversary.

📊 Data Releases This Week 

2022 Economic Census: Product Statistics Update

This Thursday, May 29, the Census Bureau will release statistics about products and services from the 2022 Economic Census. The release will include two tables, one presenting data on products by industry and the other on industries by product.

2024 Annual Survey of Public Pensions

Thursday, May 29, the Census Bureau is also scheduled to release data from the 2024 Annual Survey of Public Pensions. The survey provides revenues, expenditures, financial assets, and membership information about defined-benefit public pension systems.
