Just hours ago, the Supreme Court refused to hear new Second Amendment cases pushed by the gun lobby.

That’s right — the NRA won’t have a chance to roll back our nation's gun safety laws for the rest of the court’s cycle. This is a HUGE blow to the NRA and a win for our safety from gun violence!

We're pleased the Supreme Court declined to heed the gun lobby's call to take on a new gun rights case that could radically expand the Second Amendment. We know that the Founding Fathers never intended the Second Amendment to prevent America from passing reasonable gun safety laws. 

But here's the truth:

Even with today’s decision, we are deeply concerned that certain Justices are intent on gutting our nation's gun safety laws. We know all too well that the NRA and its allies are relentless in pushing for a radical reinterpretation of the Second Amendment. And we know that they have found sympathy with several of the Justices, including gun rights extremist Brett Kavanaugh.

John, we won against the NRA today, but there are more attacks on the horizon. Brady activists and lawyers are fighting tooth and nail to stave off these threats. Please, will you donate now to support Brady's work to take on the gun lobby and fight to protect, uphold, and pass lifesaving gun reform laws?
