John, Fox News just launched a full-blown smear campaign against me.
Last month, I went to El Salvador to demand due process for a man who was wrongfully deported and denied basic rights.
Republicans hated that I was fighting back against their fascism, so they went digging for something they could slander me with.
What did they find? A rap lyric I tweeted when I was 19.
Now, the MAGA machine is calling me “DeMS-13,” sharing AI-generated memes, and using fear to distract from what’s really happening: putting the lives of immigrants, activists, and anyone who challenges the far right narrative at risk.
Let me be clear: I won’t apologize for fighting for justice. I won’t back down from speaking up for those without a voice. And I sure as hell won’t stop just because Fox News and far-right trolls want me to.
But here’s the truth: Every time I speak out, they come after me harder. That’s why I need this grassroots team more than ever.
So please, can you chip in $15 or whatever you can today to show we won’t be silenced — and to ensure we have the resources to keep fighting for immigrant rights, due process, and a government that defends, not deports, the vulnerable? >>
