John,

According to news reports the Republican and Democratic parties believe only 14% of all House seats are competitive enough to bother targeting this election!

The professional politicians are so entrenched they have effectively rigged an overwhelming percentage of our elections.  Either these incumbents are unopposed, or they draw only token opposition for reelection.

This is why U.S. Term Limits is battling state by state to put term limits on members of the U.S. House and Senate.

Please, make a generous emergency contribution to help USTL convince even more states to pass our term limits for Congress resolution.

Remember, Congress cannot stop the states from banding together and supporting term limits on the U.S. House and Senate.

And we sure do need term limits.

Election after election more than 90% of incumbents who run for reelection in the House and Senate win.

Incumbents are practically unbeatable.

That's why only 61 seats out of 435 are considered even somewhat competitive.

Odds are in the next election, you won't even have much of a choice about who will serve as your U.S. Representatives or U.S. senators.

Whether you like who currently represents you on Capitol Hill or not doesn't really matter.

That's why we need term limits!

And that's why I need your help to convince more states to vote for term limits.

By starting the process to amend the Constitution and impose term limits through the states instead of relying on the politicians on Capitol Hill to do it themselves, we have a great chance to succeed and get term limits.

I need your help immediately though.

If you want your votes for the U.S. House and Senate to matter -- we need term limits.

If you want to have real choices each election -- we need term limits.

If your want to end careerism and allow new citizen-legislators to try to fix things -- we need term limits.

By going to the states, we can get term limits!

Please help.

Sincerely,

Philip Blumel
President
