Last week, House Republicans passed their new spending bill that they are calling “One Big Beautiful Bill.” And this bill is hideous.

There is no putting lipstick on this pig, this bill sucks. Stripping away healthcare from millions, snatching food from the mouths of the hungry, and cutting taxes for some of the wealthiest people in the history of humanity.



This isn’t America. While the vast majority of Americans disagree with this bill, Trump moves ahead - confident that his fascist ambitions will prevail. With every major cut to the safety nets that Democrats once fought so hard for, our country devolves into chaos. Endless foreign wars, poor healthcare, and lawless billionaires. 

We are fed up. From the shocking overperformance of Dems in the FL special elections to the New York state senate special election that saw a massive 91 point swing towards Democrats - working-class Americans are showing up at record breaking numbers to the polls to fight back.

And it’s because of work like ours that there may be hope that the worst parts of this bill will never come to pass. To become law, the bill now needs to pass in the Senate - and several GOP Senators are holding their support for the budget, terrified of the backlash they will receive from their voters if they support it.
