Subject: DOUBLE your support to promote mental health

2x your impact to help us reach our Mental Health Awareness Month goal

Friend,

A generous donor is MATCHING all gifts up to our $10,000 Mental Health Awareness Month goal, but there are only five days left before our midnight May 27 deadline: Donate $25 or more NOW and it will be DOUBLED!

Supporting people with disabilities, older adults, and veterans means they can access the critical mental health services they need to thrive.

When award-winning filmmaker Scott Klumb was in college, most of his teachers wore a microphone to accommodate his central auditory processing disorder.

But one semester, a new instructor told Scott, “You don’t honestly expect me to wear that, do you?” She then looked at the rest of the class and said, “Don’t you all think I speak loud enough?”

The class and instructor began to laugh. This humiliated Scott, and he went home in tears feeling “awful as a human being” for requesting accommodations.

Stories like this help explain why people with disabilities are five times more likely to experience mental health issues – and why supporting their mental health is so crucial to our mission.

Friend: Before our Mental Health Awareness Month match ends at midnight on May 27, your gift can go TWICE AS FAR to support all these efforts, and more so please don’t miss this opportunity: Make a gift of $25 or more now and have it DOUBLED to help us raise mental health awareness and promote mental health for all!

Thank you for your support.
