Businesses, especially those in healthcare, consumer goods, and supply chain-dependent industries, face significant risks, including workforce disruptions, operational instability and regulatory uncertainty. Addressing the intersection of climate and health resilience is no longer optional; it is a strategic and financial imperative.

Responsible Energy Initiative India releases framework for responsible renewable energy development
India’s renewable energy expansion supports the country's goals for clean energy growth, jobs and energy access, but rapid deployment can impact communities and ecosystems.

The Council on Energy, Environment and Water (CEEW), as part of the Responsible Energy Initiative (REI) India, has developed a framework for responsible renewable energy deployment. It outlines key principles to enable responsible deployment and ensure India’s energy transition remains people-centric. It also provides guidance for actors to self-evaluate their practices and understand where they stand on the spectrum of responsibility.

What impact are we having? And what can changemakers learn from each other?

As our climate and social crises intensify, we all need to ensure we retain a relentless focus on maximising our impact.

Forum for the Future’s inaugural Reflecting on Impact report dives into three groundbreaking programmes—Growing our Future, the Responsible Energy Initiative and the Climate and Health Coalition—to explore how our work alongside ambitious changemakers is delivering against three key outcomes: influencing people to think, feel and act in line with just and regenerative approaches, unlocking broader organisational action and supporting wider change beyond immediate remits.

Alongside new perspectives from the Forum team and an overview of our theory of change, you’ll hear directly from changemakers working on the frontlines of sustainability. What are they seeing and hearing? What are they learning? What successes and challenges are they encountering? And what implications are there for others?
