Jenkins was indicted in 2023 on 16 counts — including conspiracy, wire fraud and bribery — and found guilty by a jury of his peers on 12 of them. Two undercover FBI agents who were sworn in as auxiliary deputies in 2022 in exchange for $5,000 and $10,000 cash bribes testified against Jenkins, who received at least $75,000 in total from his badges-for-bucks scheme. Just another unassailable pardon by America's grifter-in-chief.
