• 9am to 5pm Saturday session  - focusing on party business and remit sessions
• 6pm Annual Convention dinner - celebrating the year's success and an important networking opportunity

• 2pm Sunday Leader's Address Public Meeting - the keynote public meeting by Rt Hon Winston Peters

Last year we invited Ro Edge of Saving Women's Sport Australasia. who provided a thought provoking presentation on fairness in sports and gender ideology

Dennis Maga of First Union spoke about workers and the importance to have balanced government policy.

And Senator Jacinta Price from Australia, one of the key campaigners of 'The Voice' referendum who spoke about why equal rights is essential for any democracy.

Participate in Policy Remit Debates

One of the key features of New Zealand First Conventions are our policy remit debates - this is politics in action. Policy remit proposals are submitted by region and debated at Convention by members. A list of remits debated in 2024 can be found here.

Hear from our New Zealand First Members of Parliament as they provide important updates of the work they've been doing in Parliament and the crucial issues that affect all of us. 

The convention ends with an address by the Rt Hon Winston Peters - a public meeting speech that raises the energy of our supporters.

With delegates and attendees from across the country, Convention is the perfect time to network and make connections. Last year we had 250 attendees from the ages of 16 to 93 and many of our first-time attendees had made connections across the country.
