    Nearly 30 million people—two-thirds of the population—need

made it even harder to help those affected. We've had to terminate a vital
program that provided malnutrition assistance, clean water, and shelter.
Without these services, families will suffer from hunger, disease, and
danger.

The situation in Sudan is dire, and we are deeply concerned about the
welfare of the people.

The treatment of severe acute malnutrition, particularly in children with
complications, has ceased. This will undoubtedly have severe implications
for child mortality and overall health outcomes.

Young girls are also at high risk of exploitation, leading to issues like
early marriage or transactional sex for food. These are devastating
consequences when people are forced into survival mode.

Funding cuts mean life or death for people in crisis. The impact is
