While my top priority has been working in Congress to keep you and your family safe, I wanted to take a minute to reach out about the mid-month fundraising deadline we're facing at midnight tonight. I know a mid-month deadline seems odd, but hitting monthly and quarterly goals means we need to keep up a steady pace. This is a strange year, and the fact that I'll need to rely more on social media ads and virtual campaigning than doorbelling means I'll have to spend more to reach my constituents.
With the National Republican Congressional Committee adding my opponent -- their handpicked candidate -- to their "On the Radar" list, and special interests pledging to spend millions in their efforts to take back the House majority, I need your help. Hitting this goal will help ensure we have the resources to protect my seat and the Democratic majority. But right now we're falling a little short, and I sure could use your help.
