Politico reports "Republicans start to sour on gun control laws after
Trump's reversal." This comes a day after the New York Times reported
"After Lobbying by Gun Rights Advocates, Trump Sounds a Familiar Retreat."

The amazing thing is also, yesterday, the Washington Post reported that "A
Republican poll shows overwhelming support for stricter gun control."

There must be a political price for Republican leaders who put gun
industry lobbyists ahead of even their own voters -- let along over the
lives of Americans. That's why it's important to get this TV ad on the air
in McConnell's home state of Kentucky this week.

more to air it this week in McConnell's home state of Kentucky. Make sure
McConnell feels pressure to schedule a vote on new gun laws -- and knows
there will be a political price to pay if he doesn't.

We first made this TV ad in 2013 after the Sandy Hook school shooting as
part of a series of ads featuring gun owners who support reform. Sadly,
these TV ads are still applicable today -- with the only update being how
much money McConnell has taken from the gun lobby, going from $198,615 to
$671,347.

The TV ads changed the national dialogue and were covered nationally by
CNN, The Washington Post, ABC, CBS, Roll Call, Yahoo News, TPM, Huffington
Post, and others. In Kentucky, the Louisville Courier Journal, local NBC,
local FOX, The Leo Weekly, the Associated Press, and others covered them.

They are just as powerful today -- maybe even more so because they show
how long McConnell has been blocking gun reform for the gun industry.

McConnell's home state of Kentucky. Together, let's make sure McConnell
pays a political price and feels pressure to schedule a vote on new gun
laws.

Thanks for being a bold progressive.

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez told PCCC members, "The majority of Americans are with us on the policies. Americans support Medicare for All, expanding Social Security benefits, gun reform, debt-free college, and a $15 minimum wage. Bold progressive values are popular EVERYWHERE. Together, we have the people. Together, with your help, we’ll have the votes." Chip in $3 here: [link removed]
