On Memorial Day, we honor veterans by standing together for a safer America.
Hi John,
On Memorial Day, we remember and honor those who sacrificed everything for our country. It's also a day to recognize veterans who continue to serve their communities, including those advocating for a safer America free from gun violence.
After the tragic Parkland school shooting, hundreds of U.S. military veterans stood shoulder to shoulder with young activists at March For Our Lives.
They brought a clear message: military-grade weapons have no place in civilian hands. Their experience made one thing crystal clear—these firearms are designed for war zones, not our streets.
Veterans understand the devastating impact of these weapons better than anyone. They're joining us to say enough is enough.
Today, we honor the sacrifices veterans have made, and we commit ourselves anew to protecting our communities. Together, veterans and young people are a powerful voice demanding action on gun safety.
In solidarity,
March For Our Lives
P.S. If you’re in a place to give, please chip in $20.25 to help us continue this work — to defend the truth, and to demand a future free from gun violence.
