On this Memorial Day, we pause to remember the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our freedom.
Their courage is the reason we enjoy the blessings of liberty. Their sacrifice reminds us that freedom is never free.
While today is not a day for politics, it is a day to recommit ourselves to the cause they died protecting. We must continue the work of defending our Constitution, honoring our veterans, and preserving the values they gave their lives for.
To the families of the fallen—we are forever in your debt.
