Fellow Conservative,

Today, please take a moment to remember the purpose of Memorial Day.

This is a solemn occasion where we take time to remember and honor those who
have given their lives in defense of our great nation. Georgia’s sons and
daughters have paid a steep price for our liberty and we can’t ever forget
their families.

Celebrate, but don’t forget the service and sacrifice that we celebrate.

A few years ago, I wrote an op-ed about my personal Memorial Day tradition to
honor the bravest soldiers I’ve ever known. You can read it here.
