Hi Friend,

News just broke that ELECTIONS CANADA DECLARED THE CLIMATE CRISIS A
PARTISAN ISSUE.

_Seriously?_

Here's what Elizabeth said yesterday:

"Elections Canada must reconsider. It's absolutely unacceptable that
organizations that want to comment on the threat of the climate emergency
will have to register as a third-party organization.

COMMENTS ARE NOT PARTISAN. Doctors tell people they have to give up
smoking. IF MAX BERNIER WERE TO ANNOUNCE TOMORROW SMOKING IS GOOD FOR YOU,
DO THOSE DOCTORS HAVE TO REGISTER AS A THIRD-PARTY ORGANIZATION IN ORDER TO
SAY WHAT’S TRUE ABOUT MEDICAL SCIENCE?

This is lunacy. And Elections Canada is not a lunatic organization so I
trust they will clarify and eliminate this ruling."

Add your name today to support the Green Party in declaring that the
climate crisis isn't a political opinion. [1]

In an era of pro-oil politicians, fossil fuel subsidies, and misleading
debates on bare minimum carbon pricing, a voice for evidence is critical.
AND NOW, SCIENCE-PROMOTING ENVIRONMENTAL GROUPS ARE BEING SILENCED. THIS IS
NOT DEMOCRACY.

ADD YOUR NAME [2]

In action and solidarity,
