John –
Since January, the Trump administration has fired thousands of VA employees — including veterans and their caregivers — right here in Wisconsin and across the country. Now, Trump’s poised to sign off on Medicaid cuts so steep that rural hospitals, which many veterans rely on for care, could be forced to shut their doors entirely.
Unlike Donald Trump, Lt. Gov. Sara Rodriguez knows the value of American servicemembers. Her father was a Navy veteran. She saw how tough it can be to navigate the VA system, and knows how much harder that gets when the people doing the caring — many of them veterans themselves — are suddenly out of a job because Elon Musk wants to play president.
It’s flat-out un-American, and we all know it.
That’s why Sara and Gov. Evers joined a multi-state lawsuit to stop these illegal firings and stand up for our nation’s heroes. But we want to know where you stand, so we have a quick question to ask:
|
As we honor Memorial Day tomorrow and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice, let’s recommit to doing right by our veterans today — here in Wisconsin and across the nation.
Thank you,
Team Rodriguez
