In 2015, about $12.8 billion of the Department of Defense’s modernization budget went towards missile defense. Today, it spends around $25.5 billion on missile defense.

PEPFAR supports antiretroviral therapy for over 20 million HIV-positive individuals around the world. Service disruptions are projected to push millions off treatment and increase infections in many PEPFAR countries.
