Dear supporters,

Thank you for your prayers! The Texas House of Representatives voted, by a bipartisan vote, 88-49 to approve the Texas Ten Commandments Bill (SB 10) by Senator Phil King and Rep. Candy Noble, to allow the display of the Ten Commandments in Texas public schools. SB 10 is now headed to the desk of Governor Greg Abbott.

In case you missed it, watch this CBN interview where Texas Values was featured on the Texas Ten Commandments bill.

"We are grateful that Texas took a bold step to recognize the document that helped shaped our nation's history and legal system more than perhaps any other, and to honor the heritage that it helped to shape. The Ten Commandments serve as a crucial reminder of the moral foundations of our laws, and of the true Lawgiver that our nation and state were founded upon."

- Jonathan Covey, Director of Policy for Texas Values
