Dwight helped pass the Equality Act in the House because no one should be fired from their job because of who they are or who they love. And despite Mitch McConnell's continued obstruction on this critical civil rights bill, the Supreme Court has delivered an incredible victory for the LGBTQIA+ community today:

This landmark 6-3 ruling affirmed what many of us already know to be true: Title VII of the Civil Rights Act also applies to sexual orientation and gender identity. At last, we have a federal standard that unambiguously protects LGBTQIA+ Americans from workplace discrimination and prevents an employer's personal prejudices from becoming a license to discriminate.

This is not just a victory for Gerald Bostock, Donald Zarda, and Aimee Stephens -- the brave plaintiffs who stood up to say "enough is enough." It's a victory for our movement for equal justice for all, and some good news to fuel our Pride celebrations this month!
