Hi John,

Right now, our country is at a crossroads. Political tribalism is dividing our nation like never before and corrupt leaders are attempting to dismantle our democracy, and capture it for their own gain. 

But in moments of crisis, it's all the more important that we connect with what brings us together. Like our belief in the Constitution. In the rule of law. In the idea that America can—and must—live up to its highest ideals. 

At American Democracy Summit 2025, those beliefs were on full display across the political spectrum. 

Whether it was a hard-core conservative like Rusty Bowers, a moderate Republican like Adam Kinzinger, or a Democrat like Ellen Weintraub, there was one unifying message: no one is coming to save our democracy – it's up to all of us together to stop the slide into authoritarianism. 

The chaos in Washington has laid bare the greed and corruption that have infected our political system for too long. But out of that chaos, positive and lasting change is possible—if we make it happen.
