It is a busy week and here's a reminder to join us tomorrow night for Parenting During the Pandemic, request your absentee ballot by tomorrow's deadline, vote early today through June 21, and this Thursday, June 18, join me and Speaker Johnson for a Virtual Community Conversation and Townhall.

Parenting During the Pandemic Virtual Town Hall
Join me tomorrow night, June 16th at 8pm, for a panel of experts on Parenting During the Pandemic Virtual Town Hall. The event will serve as a resource for parents who, like me, might be finding it tough to balance working & parenting full time from home. Join a host of parenting experts, mental health experts, teachers, and administrators in this discussion.
Department of Education Manhattan Executive Superintendent Rosales will be in attendance to answer questions on new grading standards and admissions process. The Council of School Supervisors & Administrators will also be present to discuss how schools have transitioned to digital instruction and how they are being supported. The panel will also feature a social worker to discuss how to help support yourself and your family during the pandemic, as well as educators and community leaders who will provide tips for helping children socialize during this time and supporting students in online learning.
Questions must be submitted with RSVP or by email to [email protected].
This meeting will be hosted on Zoom and streamed publicly on Facebook.com/BenKallos/live
