Quick question for you, JOHN: Will you add your name to our petition denouncing Donald Trump?

Donald Trump and his administration are trying to use the power of the White House to scare powerful pro-democracy voices into submission.

Even beyond the big names they've gone after, Trump has also tried to take legal action against former DOJ and FBI employees and arrested a liberal judge in Wisconsin.

This is not normal. We can never act like this is normal.

In a functioning republic, the legislative branch would act to curb these abuses of power-but Republicans in the House and Senate are owned by Donald Trump and too weak to buck him.

We need to make it known loud and clear that we stand united AGAINST Trump's illegal abuses, JOHN. Will you add your name this morning to let us know you support democracy and denounce Donald Trump?

We're in a tough spot. The pro-democracy coalition is not in power in this country, and we won't have a shot at balancing the scales until November of next year.

But just because we can't fight back with votes just yet, that doesn't mean we can't fight back with our voices.

We must wake up every single day and be as loud as possible about this administration's criminality, corruption, and authoritarianism. Beating this drum every single day is how we are fighting back. But we need to know we have a grassroots army with us.
