This summer we have a unique opportunity to join the Church‘s global debt campaign and make our call for the cancellation of the debts of countries hit hardest by the climate crisis.
Will you join us on Wednesday 9 July to meet MPs in Westminster along with thousands of others from across the country?
Co-organised by our friends from The Climate Coalition, supporters of nearly 100 different groups and organisations are expected to come together in Westminster for the ‘Act Now, Change Forever’ Mass Lobby to speak to their MPs on debt and climate.
Over 93 percent of the world’s most climate-vulnerable countries face a debt crisis.
In this Jubilee year, it’s vital that MPs also hear from people of faith in the mass lobby. As we seek to honour the memory of Pope Francis, let us remind ourselves of his words for this Jubilee year 2025: “One of the actions that characterises jubilees is the forgiving of debts”.
