In the last couple of weeks, there’s been no shortage of news: Trump’s “big, beautiful” budget bill kicking millions off their health insurance has passed the House; he’s spreading lies about a genocide against white South African farmers and offering them citizenship while yanking legal status from Afghan refugees; he’s threatening new tariffs; and he was offered a $400 million luxury jet from Qatar. But a lot of political news has been dominated by the guy who used to be president: Joe Biden. Or to be more precise: That book about his health (you know the one). But is that story as significant in people’s lives like grocery and TV prices skyrocketing because of tariffs or people who can’t afford to get cancer treatments? Lincoln Square’s Susan J. Demas talks to longtime journalist Jennifer Schulze — who writes the Indiscreet Chatter Substack — about why the mainstream media is hyper-focused on Biden. Jennifer also gives her take on Trump’s technique of flooding the zone with shit and why mainstream outlets haven’t figured out how to cover him over the last nine years In light of the House passing the MAGA Murder Budget, Joe digs up some stats you have to hear to believe. Think America knows the truth about Medicaid cuts? Think again. Joe has a solution — but it's going to take a lot more than Democrats are doing right now. Americans generally like tax cuts ... when they think it's for them. But when those cuts are framed as helping the rich? No-brainer.
