In just a moment, I’m going to ask you to make a donation to my re-election campaign before our critical mid-month deadline tomorrow. But before I do, you deserve an explanation of exactly why your donation matters — especially today.

We need to fight back.

At the end of the month, we’ll report all of our numbers to the Federal Election Commission. That means our numbers become public and everyone will see the amount we raised and exactly how many people gave to our campaign.

With so much on the line, we have to report the strongest numbers possible to show Republicans that we won’t let them get away with buying our government and enacting their dangerous policies.

But here’s the bad news: since we’ve canceled our in-person fundraising events during this pandemic, our numbers have significantly dropped. We’re working around the clock to make sure we hit all of our goals, but falling behind now could put our campaign at risk.
