We have been challenged - Double Your Impact!

Cultural Survival was founded in 1972 to advance the rights, voices, and visions of Indigenous Peoples around the world. From the beginning, our mission has been rooted in the urgency of protecting Indigenous rights and amplifying Indigenous leadership—setting the course for over five decades of advocacy and solidarity.

Today, Cultural Survival is an Indigenous-led organization, guided by a majority Indigenous and majority women-identifying staff and board. Representing over 24 Indigenous Nations and based in 17+ countries, we are a living reflection of the communities we serve.

We all know there is still much to do. As we celebrate 53 years of Cultural Survival, we’re calling on our community to rise to the challenge.

Right now, your gift will go twice as far. Thanks to generous members of our Board of Directors, all donations made by June 1 will be matched dollar-for-dollar, up to $10,000—bringing us closer to our $20,000 goal for Annual Giving Day.

This is a critical moment. Around the world, our Indigenous partners are leading the way—defending land, language, culture, and sovereignty. When you give today, you’re not just supporting their efforts—you’re investing in a future grounded in Indigenous knowledge, resilience, and leadership.

Join us and stand in solidarity.
Help us reach our $20,000 goal by June 1 for our Annual Giving Day!
