 Memorial Day Holiday Closure
Non-emergency city facilities are closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday on Monday, May 26. Trash and recycling are unaffected by this holiday closure. Emergency services will operate as normal.

Summer Reading Challenge Opening Party featuring The Wanda King Band
May 29 | 6-8 p.m.
Color your summer with free sno-cones, lawn games, and crafts for the whole family at 6 p.m. in the Library Park, followed by soulful tunes of the Wanda King Band at 7 p.m. Don't forget your lawn chairs or blankets! In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be held in Library Program Rooms North and South. The Hurst Public Library and Arts Council Northeast are proud to partner to bring you this year's MasterWorks concert series!

Free Summer Camps with Hurst Police Department!
The Hurst Police Department is hosting two free summer camps for students entering 5th or 6th grade this fall. These camps build positive relationships between officers and youth through fun, hands-on activities.
PALS Camp (June 16–20): Enjoy water games, kickball, relay races, swimming, animal visits from Creature Teacher, and more! Lunch provided daily. Register now: hursttx.gov/palscamp
Sports Camp (July 14–18): Learn soccer and basketball in a fun, encouraging environment—perfect for all skill levels. Focus is on teamwork and building confidence. Register now: hursttx.gov/sportscamp

 Hurst Boulevard Vision Survey
The City of Hurst, in collaboration with NCTCOG, is conducting a planning study for the SH10/Hurst Boulevard Corridor. This study aims to shape the future development of the roadway and surrounding land uses. To ensure the plan aligns with the community's needs, it is crucial for residents and local stakeholders to share their feedback and vision for the corridor.
