 Dear Neighbors,
Legislative leaders and Governor Walz announced a budget agreement last week to balance the budget for the 2026-27 biennium. As we continue to work through the details, our deadline to constitutionally adjourn passed on May 19, and a special session will be necessary to tie up loose ends. Progress is being made on the budget and I'm encouraged by the bipartisan collaboration continuing.
To that end, I’m hosting a community coffee hour at the Galaxie Public Library tomorrow, this Saturday (14955 Galaxie Ave, Apple Valley, MN 55124) at 9:30 a.m. I’d love to hear what’s on your mind and would appreciate hearing your stories about how you’re being impacted by any federal or state decisions.
Real ID
Holiday weekend travels may be disrupted if you’ve yet to update your Real ID.
