House Republicans voted to pass a disastrous budget plan yesterday.

"House Republicans Push Forward Plan to Cut Taxes, Medicaid and Food Aid" - The New York Times

Not only does it slash funding for Medicaid and SNAP, it also hurts local farmers in Upstate New York and takes away food from working families – just to give more tax cuts to billionaires.

So, I’ve been fighting back. I’ve already introduced legislation that will make life more affordable for Upstate New Yorkers, and I introduced three amendments last week that would also help lower costs and support farmers, but Republicans blocked them.

John, I’ll continue doing everything I can to support Upstate New Yorkers. If you’re with me, will you add your name to our petition today to join the fight and oppose these cuts?
