John,
If there's one thing Donald Trump has shown us throughout his life, it's that he tries to take advantage of the most vulnerable among us. And now, his administration is extending that indignity to wildlife, too.
New Trump rules weaken wildlife protections
"The Trump administration took its final step...to weaken the Endangered Species Act"
The Washington Post, August 16, 2019
The Endangered Species Act has protected the bald eagle, the humpback whale, the grizzly bear, and other animals from extinction. Add your name if you support protecting endangered species and the habitats they need to thrive.

Trump's changes to the Endangered Species Act will allow fragile habitats to be destroyed, all in the interest of opening up land for big business. And for the first time, an economic cost will be attached to the preservation of each endangered species. It's an attempt to say that conservation is too expensive.
The new rules could severely limit the habitats of iconic species that are already being threatened by climate change.
John, it makes no sense to attach a dollar value to these iconic plants and animals -- they're priceless and their loss would have long term impacts. Suzan DelBene is speaking out against these short-sighted changes, and we're asking you to add your name, too.
