In the dead of the night, House Republicans pushed through huge cuts to healthcare to pay for giant new tax breaks for billionaires – keeping the process from the public because they don’t want anyone to see what’s actually in it.

Take it from me: There’s so much to hate in the Republican “budget” bill – a complete gift to the ultra-wealthy that will cost millions of Americans their healthcare and force cuts to Medicaid and Medicare.

Fewer doctors, higher premiums, and countless hospitals forced to shut their doors. It is quite literally robbing from struggling families to line the pockets of the rich.

Simply put, under House Republicans seniors and hardworking Americans are being sold out — and we won’t forget it.

Anger right now is valid, but we cannot give in to despair. And I will not let up. I voted no on this abomination, and I will keep fighting for you – to curb the worst far-right impulses, and build the blue wall to end this grift for the richest 1%.
