Trump’s second term is a full-on assault on our rights. We’re seeing it all:
Attempted destruction of medicaid.
Abortion bans.
Anti-LGBTQIA+ attacks.
Mass deportation plans.
Book bans and censorship.
Efforts to gut cultural institutions like the Library of Congress.
Coordinated attacks on free speech, public libraries, and the truth itself. This isn’t just political — it’s personal.
At Run for Something, we believe the fight starts local. That’s why we’re going hard in 2025: recruiting, training, and electing a new wave of progressive leaders who’ll defend our freedoms at every level — from school boards to state legislatures.
