Recently, the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) launched attack ads smearing me as a "traitor" for defending the Constitution.
I couldn’t let these lies stand, so my team and I sat down to figure out how to respond. We decided we needed to urgently expand our digital advertising efforts to combat these attacks and tell the truth.
It wasn’t an easy decision, because the money wasn’t in the budget. But I gave my team the green light anyway because we can’t let these attacks go unanswered — and because I’m betting on this grassroots team to help us close the gap.
