HELP CONNECT LGBTQIA+ YOUTH TO OUR VIRTUAL NATIONAL SCHOOL CLIMATE YOUTH FOCUS GROUPS!

Throughout June, GLSEN is organizing conversations with LGBTQIA+ youth across the country as part of our 2024 National School Climate Survey. GLSEN’s research has proven to be a powerful tool in advocating for better schools for our students across the country.

These focus groups are intended to ensure that we are amplifying the voices of LGBTQ+ students who are BIPOC, trans femme, disabled, and who are from rural areas or live in the South, as well as giving those students the community and space to share their experiences with each other.

Please share this opportunity with LGBTQIA2S+ youth in your communities and networks who are 13 years or older and attended middle/high school in the current academic year. 

We want to make sure that we are bringing together different voices and experiences in each community conversation! 

Who are we looking for: Students, 13 or older who identify as LGBTQIA2S+ and have attended middle or high school in the US this year

What will they be participating in: 2 hour Zoom conversation about your experiences in school this year

When: One of multiple dates in June

Compensation: $50

Together, we can build safe and affirming schools for all students.
