We recognize that this is a very difficult time for all in our country. Hiral's first priority right now is everyone's health, safety, and well-being. We ask you to only consider making a donation if you can afford to do so. The work of our campaign continues, albeit remotely, and we remain committed to the longterm mission of fighting for Arizona families. However, if you prefer to receive fewer emails from us during this time, please click here. Thank you.

John,

If we're going to hold David Schweikert for his failed record on voting rights -- and so much more -- then we must have the resources to expand our field operations as the cycle picks up.

But with only 12 hours until our mid-month budget deadline, we're still short by $2,910 of where we need to be.

Grassroots supporters like you are the backbone of our campaign -- can you chip in now to help us meet our goal?

Thanks,

Team Hiral

John, I was outraged and saddened by what happened in Georgia this week.

Tens of thousands of voters -- especially in communities of color -- were forced to stand in line for hours. There were widespread reports of faulty voting machines, and in some precincts, there weren't enough ballots. This was yet another example of willful voter disenfranchisement.

Unequal access to the ballot box breaks a core principle of our country: that every American has the right to have a voice in the democratic process. What happened in Georgia is a powerful reminder that voting rights are still under attack in 2020 -- and it underscores the need to restore the Voting Rights Act, which was wrongly gutted by the Supreme Court in 2013.

David Schweikert had a chance to do the right thing when the House brought up a bill in December that would restore key portions of the Voting Rights Act. He opposed this bill -- and effectively aligned himself with the shameful attempts by states all around the country to restrict access to the ballot box.

We deserve better from our representative, and that's why I need your help to replace Schweikert. Can you donate $15 or more to help us win? We're expanding our field outreach after Monday, and we hope to raise $7,500 by then to fully fund that effort.

Congress should be working to repeal discriminatory voter ID laws and eliminate racial gerrymandering. A stronger Voting Rights Act gives us the tools to do that.

David Schweikert's opposition to the Voting Rights Act shows just how out of touch he is, and that his agenda is committed to supporting the most extreme elements of his party, which include voter suppression.

We need leaders in Congress who put people before politics and respect the fundamental promise of our democracy. Leaders who will fight for and protect our sacred right to cast our vote.

If you've had enough with the failed leadership of Schweikert and his extremist agenda, please chip in to help us get our message out to every voter! Thank you for helping us strengthen our democracy!

Take good care,
