John,

Last Friday, I was proud to host the inaugural Interfaith Prayer Breakfast — bringing together faith leaders, elected officials, and community members from across Philadelphia for a morning of reflection, unity, and purpose.

We were honored to be joined by Reverend Al Sharpton as our keynote speaker.

Rev. Sharpton delivered a powerful message, challenging us to remember the sacrifices of those who came before us. He reminded us that progress isn’t made alone, and that we have a responsibility to uplift the next generation and continue the work of justice.

This event was about more than words — it was about action and connection. It was a chance to build bridges across faith traditions, to recommit to shared values, and to reflect on what it means to lead with both moral courage and collective memory.

Thank you to everyone who made this morning possible. I look forward to continuing this work together
