John, the House passed the GOP budget bill last night that guts Medicaid to pay for tax breaks for the wealthiest dudes in America.
We won't sugarcoat this: If the GOP budget passes the Senate, it's estimated that over 10 MILLION Americans will lose their health insurance.
And it won't stop there. These cuts could:
* Force rural hospitals to shut down.
* Make already-long ER wait times even longer.
* Evict seniors from nursing homes.
* Increase premiums for millions of families.
Republicans are shamelessly working to trade away a lifeline for Americans just so the richest people in America can get even richer.
The bill now goes to the Senate, and John's not going to stand back and watch it become law. He's ready to fight with everything he's got to stop these cuts – but he needs folks on this team to help by showing MASSIVE public opposition right now.
