John, here’s another example of how our economy is setting up young people for failure: corporations want us to be in debt for… ordering a burrito.

Doordash and Klarna recently announced a buy now, pay later option for food delivery orders. So folks can pay off food orders for months if they can’t afford it upfront.

It’s more than ridiculous - it’s predatory, and it’s personal to me.

When I was running for Congress, I drove Uber to cover my bills, and still had to rack up credit card debt to get by. Even after I won, landlords denied me apartments because of my credit. That's what it's like to be young and working class in America right now.

Debt shouldn’t be big business. Not for medicine, college, and especially not for burritos.

In Congress, I’m fighting against this corporate greed and grifting billionaire class so we can build an economy that actually works for young people, but I can’t keep up this fight alone. Especially as these billionaires prepare to spend big to unseat me. So I’m counting on your support, today.

If you believe our economy is failing young, working class people, chip in whatever you can so we can organize young voters, challenge billionaire influence, and build the political power we need to change this system from the ground up. >> ([link removed])
