Hi, friend. My name is Trisha Calvarese (D), and I'm running for Congress. Together, we can unseat Lauren Boebert and build a path that uplifts the hardworking people of Colorado.

I was born in Colorado, baptised on the rural Eastern plains, raised in the middle-class community of Highlands Ranch. My parents were conservatives, mom was a child care provider, dad was a civil servant. They taught me the importance of finding common ground, cherishing community and responsibility and living your values – even when no one is watching.

I earned an academic scholarship to Johns Hopkins, worked at the AFL-CIO and swore an oath to the Constitution at the U.S. National Science Foundation. I lost both my parents to cancer, 13 days apart. Seeing firsthand the difference that Medicare, union protections and a strong safety net made for my family, I knew I had to step up. 

I believe in servant leadership. Colorado needs someone who’s actually working for them: to lower costs, make care more affordable, and create good-paying jobs right here at home.

Lauren Boebert has proven she is more interested in headlines than standing up for our families. She’s not just divisive — she’s dangerous – and she’s bought and paid for by billionaires like Elon Musk.

We deserve leaders who show up. Who listen. Who understand our district because they’ve lived through its challenges.
