Image-based sexual abuse is a rapidly growing, yet still underrecognized form of sexual violence, and it is imperative that we come together to raise awareness and push for solutions. And we are making huge progress!

As many of you will have already heard, the TAKE IT DOWN Act was signed into law this week. For the first time, uploading or distributing IBSA is a federal crime, and tech platforms will be required to remove IBSA within 48 hours of receiving a report from a survivor! This is a groundbreaking victory, which will have untold impact.

We continue to press forward, advocating for legislation like the DEFIANCE Act and the NO FAKES Act, which complement the important approach taken in the TAKE IT DOWN Act.
