The National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC), on behalf of Cory Gardner, placed a racist and Islamophobic billboard in Denver featuring two current members of Congress, who have suffered innumerable racist attacks and threats, and one of our Senate candidates. Obviously the NRSC is following the same tired playbook of fear-mongering and race-baiting to try and win elections. And once again Colorado senator, Cory Gardner is silent on the issue.

Cory Gardner has continuously tried to walk the fine line of being the ardent supporter of Donald Trump that he is and portraying the moderate conservative he believes will get him reelected because he knows that he cannot run on his record. Coloradans know better and deserve better!

Deliberately playing to people's fears and prejudices around race and religion should be below even Cory Gardner and the NRSC. Courting white nationalism has already led to an increase in hate crimes and violence in this country under Trump's regime.

Call on Senator Gardner to denounce the race-baiting ads that the NRSC is distributing and to call out his own party on using such tactics!
