the most exciting time of the year. It’s a rush getting our kids ready for
another great school year.

I’ve been working to give all kids a fair shot from the very beginning. I’ve
spent my career in Nevada working to end achievement gaps and to keep kids on
the road to graduation.
On the other hand, the Trump administration has worked against our students.
Education Secretary Betsy DeVos, for example, has actively cut programs that
aid student success and then chose to ignore our public schools.
I know firsthand the value of an education. That’s why it’s been my mission to
expand that opportunity to every kid -- regardless of circumstance. Our
children deserve to receive the best education in the world and I’m going to
make sure that happens.
