The “big, beautiful" Republican tax bill will cost millions of Americans their health care to hand billionaires like Donald Trump and Elon Musk another tax break.

If they get their way, seniors, children, people with disabilities, and working families could be left without the coverage they rely on to survive. Republicans are willing to sacrifice our health care to give billionaires more tax cuts. 

Programs like Medicaid are lifelines, not bargaining chips.

1.6 million New Jerseyans receive health care through Medicaid, including one third of all children in the state. We can’t let Republicans rip away their health care to pay for tax cuts for billionaires. 

Medicaid provides everything from routine checkups to life-saving treatments. Slashing this essential program to reward the ultra-wealthy would devastate families across New Jersey and widen already deep inequalities in our health care system. 

We should be expanding access to health care, not pulling the rug out from under those who need it most.
