LEGISLATIVE UPDATE:
The Legislature is still working through the budget process. The Representatives and Senators have not been called back (at the time of writing this) so we are still in a holding pattern for now.
The Governor has received at least 81 bills from the Legislature. He can either sign them into law or veto them. Three bills of note that have now been signed and will become law:
-
The law that prevents putting any foreign chemical (including Fluoride) in our drinking water. (CS/CS/CS/SB 700)
-
· Outlaws Weather Modifications (CS/CS/SB 56)
-
· Boater Freedom Act which our very own Representative Gossett- Seidman cosponsored (CS/SB 1388)·
