President Donald Trump has issued two executive orders targeting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility initiatives, threatening programs that support thousands of Marylanders.

These unconstitutional executive orders force Maryland’s schools, businesses, and local governments to choose between abandoning critical programs and initiatives or losing millions of dollars in federal funding.

Attorney General Anthony Brown isn’t backing down. He’s standing with the City of Baltimore in challenging these executive orders to preserve critical programs that support underserved students, ensure inclusive hiring practices, and provide access to services for people with disabilities.
